The SolarLight rail has a reduced height cross-section to optimise the structure for installations with support points close to each other on the roof.

Advantages

The cross-section with reduced height optimizes the structure for installations with reduced distance between the supports.
The SolarLight is very flexible since the two side grooves and a lower groove are compatible with the quick couplings of the GTA hooks as well as with SKS M8 screws or RHS hammer head screws.
The optimized length reduces waste and facilitates handling on site.
The maximum allowed centre distance is 1000 mm, based on snow and wind action calculated in accordance with national standards in force.

Solar Light is an AW 6063 T6 aluminium alloy rail for building structures for photovoltaic systems. The 33 mm high cross-section makes it particularly suitable for building structures on pitched roofs with supporting points on the roof close to each other. The two side grooves and the lower groove are compatible with SKS M8 screws or RHS hammer head screws and make installations quick and easy. Solar Light is compatible with the PMU / PMCU universal clamps and for pitched roofs with the follwoing hooks GTA 1, GTA 2, GTA 3, GC, GTP, GTPR, GT 130 and GTX 150. For non-removable corrugated panel or barrel /flat tile roofs the double-threaded screws STSR and STSI are needed and for trapezoidal metal sheet roofs the DLA and DLAK clamps.

Functionality

Identify the correct support system based on the type of roof (e.g., flat tile hooks, barrel tile hooks, triangular frames for flat roofs, standing seam clamps, etc.)
Assemble the SolarLight rail on the selected support through the lower groove or side grooves.
To connect two SolarLight rails, install a CPN AL joint on both sides of the rail, making it slide inside the side groove until it touches the stud in the centre of the joint.
Complete the connection by locking each end of the CPN AL connection with 2 x 3.5 mm x 9.5 mm self-drilling screws on each side of the SolarLight profile.
To limit thermal expansion, it is advisable to create series of rails connected to each other up to a maximum length of 15 m. Beyond this measure it is necessary to interrupt the structure and start again with a new rail disconnected from the previous ones.
Install the PMU/PMCU clamps through the upper groove of the rail. The SolarLight rail is not compatible with MF, MC, PM-F, PM-C clamps.
Fix the PV panels by tightening the PMU/PMCU clamps.
